They Are neither Dead nor Alive: A Study on Deformed Bodies

They Are Neither Dead nor Alive is a multimedia installation consisting of three artworks that examine the links between the formation of the body and repression within an authoritarian system. In it, I claim the body, not as a biological organism, but as a political artifact that power constructs, disciplines, and disfigures. I investigate how the State’s political, social, and discursive structures produce a “subjected body.”
